Sean Ahearn
Sean Ahearn has over 15 years of executive management and business development experience in the entertainment and non-profit fields. Sean served as President of several independent music production companies and at the executive management level for several arts related non-profit organizations, as well as produced a variety of fundraising events, concert tours and festivals. Sean currently serves as Independent Business Development consultant for clients like the Harmony Festival, EarthDance, Solfest, as well as ArtSFest.

Heather Dunn
Heather Dunn is a member of the California Bar Association, the International Trademark Association, and California Lawyers for the Arts. She received her B.F.A. from Rhode Island School of Design, where she studied fine art and photography, and later received her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Heather’s law practice includes domestic and international trademark law, intellectual property, and art law. She practices with the firm of Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich LLP in San Francisco. Previously, she had worked with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office as law clerk to the City Departments of Art and Culture, including Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Asian Art Museum, San Francisco Arts Commission, and San Francisco Film Commission. Her recent publications include "But Is It Art? One Court Weighs In" and “Hip Hop Culture Raises a Host of Trademark Issues,” appearing in the National Law Journal in January 2003 and May 2002, respectively.composer. |
Jocelyn Kane
Jocelyn Kane is Deputy Director of San Francisco's Entertainment Commission, which is charged with ensuring the health and vitality of all indoor and outdoor entertainment venues in the City. Jocelyn is also the founder of Motogirl Productions, an SF-based artist development company. Motogirl Productions works with large and small artists in various genres, to help them understand the "business" of music and how to reach individual goals effectively in one of the toughest industries around. Jocelyn is currently on the Steering Committee of the Live Music Task Force, created to advance live music as a cultural and educational influence, and as an integral part of public events and celebrations. |
Brad Nye, Executive Director
Brad Nye is the founder and Executive Director of ArtSFest. From 1995-2001, he founded and guided VIC (Venice Interactive Community), an influential professional trade association servicing the technology industry in Southern California. Prior to that, he spent fifteen years in entertainment marketing, promotion, licensing and merchandising, and event/television production. Nye holds a B.A. in Dramatic Arts from UC Berkeley. |
Ellyn Parker
Ellyn Parker is a youth arts advocate and activist, media content writer and event producer. She is co-owner of Olao Records and formerly co-owner and the creative vision of 691 Gallery, a now shuttered multi-media arts gallery. She has created youth programs for TODCO-Knox SRO (in collaboration with Cellspace), Soma Rec Center, Santa Rosa Rec & Park, The Expo for the Artist & Musician, Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy and the Israel Independence Day festival. She is the proud mom of 7 year old Tae Kwon Do champion, Alia Anaya. |
Ajay Sreekanth
Ajay is a recovering software engineer who used to do research in computer graphics. He worked at Silicon Graphics as part of the group developing the Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) and at The McKinley Group developing Magellan, one of the first Web search engines. He later co-founded a couple of technology consulting and development companies and is currently exploring ideas related to digital video distribution. Ajay has two graduate degrees from U.C.Berkeley.
